For 100 years, the Pentecostal Church of God has been proclaiming Bible truth in Holy Spirit power. In 1919, right in the heart of Chicago, our story began as men and women partnered together to aggressively advance the good news of Jesus Christ around the globe. A Movement erupted, now including over 500,000 active members across 71 nations and counting. We first address the basic needs of those who come into our care by providing a safe place to stay in one of our shelters, hot meals from our kitchen, groceries from our food pantry, and clothing and household items from our Thrift Stores. For those who seek a path to getting back on their feet and escaping the cycle of homelessness, we also offer spiritual guidance, life skills and parenting training, jobs, counseling, and so much more. Here at the Mission, we seek to show the love of Christ to everyone who comes through our door. We meet people where they are in their journey, whether they stay with us for one night or months on end.
